i havent heard that, but "shesha" in sanskrit could mean "that which is left over", but depends on context. it could also means "he who finishes", and a few other things, im not an expert.

The meaning is related to Hindu mythology as discussed above (which is left out). But as you said and wikipedia also refers sheesh(a) as King , I'm confused.
Re: Sheesh Naag
well the king of the nagas was named shesha. his one brother is another naga named takshaka, you might know the place named after him - takshaka shila (takshaka's rock) aka taksha-shila aka taxila.
Re: Sheesh Naag
it's shesh naag...mispronounced as sheesh naag...as Queer said, it means the Kings of Naags
Re: Sheesh Naag
He is sometimes referred to as Ananta Shesha which translates as endless-Shesha or as Adishesha which means the first Shesha. It is said that when Adishesa uncoils, time moves forward and creation takes place. When he coils back, the universe ceases to exist. “Shesha” in Sanskrit texts, especially those relating to mathematical calculation, also implies the “remainder” – that which remains when all else ceases to exist.
Shesha - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
seems its use as same as Arabic Hayyu o Qayyum
Re: Sheesh Naag
In my student life, we had one student union 'terror' called himself Sheesh Naag and we got agreed that you are King of all snakes.
May be he knows the true meaning of Sheesh
Re: Sheesh Naag
yes Muqwee...shesh [not shEEsh] also means 'remainder' as in arithmetic.
