I love sheath dresses for the classic look that they provide and because the silhouette is just so flattering. I have a wedding to go to in the first week of february and I wanna wear a dress, Im thinking a sheath dress would look best.. because its dressy but simple enough for me to go crazy with accessories.
Ive been looking online but havent found anything particularly eye catching… was hoping someone here could help me out.
I prefer knee length or longer considering its gonna be cold.. I dont wanna ruin the look with tights or leggings… so the longer it is, the better… but then again, nothing longer than the calf… and half sleeves or longer…
you know, I like that one least of them all though it certainly does fit my criteria... I think it looks a tad bit matronly... I dont wanna look 20 years older than I really am... the color is lovely but I want it to scream RIYA not AUNTY... its totally not me :(
Sadzzz I love the blue one though certainly not for a wedding... where from? I like alot of the designs on the site you provided, though I probably shouldve mentioned Im kinda like on a budget... the cheaper it is, the better. I've got a million other things to buy in addition to teh dress: shoes, clutch, accessories... trying to keep everything in moderate spending limits...
riya it is matornly. i dunno, wear it if you're at work, or when you're 30. not now. but if you really wanna wear it, i think go for a nice, bright color, like the green one posted mahi. it doesn't look too blah
I don’t know your location but if you are based in USA and shopping from a USA site then never purshase online without checking sites like http://www.retailmenot.com/ for online coupons.
Sites like www.like.com and http://www.shopstyle.com/ can come in superhandy when power shopping. They allow you to find options in your price range.
riya it wont look mumsy if u pair it up with strappy sandals and a cluth and biggest chandalier earings found on the planet earth all in champaign colour and dont tie ur hair or any updo :nono: jst have sum curls or waves
but u jst cut ur hair:( use extensions if u want to long wavy hair wont make this dress look mumsy
keep ur make up minimal and youthful go for smokey or dramatic eyes if u want to but not lips
dont go nuts with too much jewelry choose either earings or necklace but i will say go for earings and a giant cocktail ring
Mahi- where on earth did you find these particular dresses you posted? They’re all such gorgeous colors… really really beautiful and just what I was looking for too! Now if only I could decide on which one I look most… I like too many!
Khumar and KB- I dont think sheath dresses in general are mumsy types, just one of the ones I posted I found to be a tad bit too conservative and oldie looking… I know how to sexify these dresses and look hot yet conservative at the same time… leave it to me
Riya, i have one similar to the black one.. I wear it to work on days I need to look highly professional and get my way.. LOL.. they look stunning on.. I can never find one for a decent price though.. so expensive
