she hasn't started to roll over yet ?

my daughter is 5 months and her adjusted age is 3 months. she has not started to roll over yet. should I be worried ? I guess premies takes more time with motor skills.

when did your baby started to roll over ?

Re: she hasn't started to roll over yet ?

I have EI that visit once a week for my kids and they suggested I place mirror and toys that might interest them to their side and help them roll on both sides. Eventually they got it and now u can't stop them from crawling under tables and chairs or any tiny tiny spaces. Preemies do take their time to reach their milestones but its just that more exciting.

mines is 6 months and doesnt roll .. i dont think its such a fuss, she will do it when she wants.
mines even hates to be put on her tummy, unlike my first one who loved it.

Ditto with sadia. They reach milestones on their own time. I won't worry but geneally babies who get more yummy time roll over, sit n crawl sooner.

Re: she hasn't started to roll over yet ?

Diamond I wouldnt worry. Just make sure she gets tummy time. The general rule about preemies in US is to use their adjusted age for milestones during their first year so its not time to worry. I bet she's just fine.

ya.. preemies do take time to reach milestones... but here is something to make u feel better at the expense of someone else's baby :D

my friend's son was born full term so not a preemie.. and he still doesnt crawl at 10 months!!!! just turns into a plane when put on his belly.. hehe...

he JUST learned to roll over! this with all the classes she attends with baby yoga etc.

so its really onthing to worry bout... its one thing or the other.. my son started everything way too early but didnt know how to chew until 10 months!! the baby im talking bout could eat bread at 6 months! so see.. every baby is diff.. hehe.

oh and i just remembered... u mashallah times a million have a golu molu baby... usually such babies have a hard time rolling over... its the cutest thing tryin to see them do so

my kid sis and bro were like that.. fat ass kids who couldnt roll over.. if we put htem on their side so they could maybe do it with a bit of help, they would fall back on their backs.. haha... so adorable!

hehehe the above sounds so cute :omg: i think u r right
