yes very painful, hence why I haven’t gone back in 6 months 
I was told under arms tend to have a lot more nerves an nerves = more pain 
I went for laser a few days back, an I just asked the lady to try it on a different part of the body an I was like is it gonna hurt, hoping she would say no, she was like “ofcourse, no pain no gain sweety” she was right…

Oh no... :( I thought it wont be painful at all. No pain no gain is okay but we are paying for it already :(

^ omg, CE, my underarm treatments were not that painful! she was careful with the settings and only went as far as i could bear. i know some people on the hair removal forum say that it should hurt so bad that it makes you wanna scream if you want the best treatment but to be honest i think that's bs. i think i'm done in 5 treatments, might need a 6th but given how much was left before the fifth i doubt it - and 6 is the average for underarms too.
on my legs it was only very painful in the parts where the hair was coarsest and most dense but those areas were over pretty quick so i just beared with it.
ask for a test patch on underarms again, see how you feel. if you keep quitting, it's almost like starting over again because the hair will all be in diff growth cycles :(
it's been 8 yrs since Ive had mine done and it hasnt grown back since...not one hair. never had any touch ups. It really depends where you are getting it done. Due to hormonal changes in the body there is a possibility that the hair can regrow but if it does it will only be fine and light colored hairs.
Even if touch ups are required once a year....it's much better then having to go in every 6 weeks for waxing.
