i use the fusion power…not sure if the vibration actually does anything useful, but the cartridges are great. it is impossible to get a closer shave than with the gillette fusion (using a fresh cartridge). after shaving, stubble is literally 99.99% undetectable when running a finger against the grain.

i’ve heard good things about the badger brush, but i’ve never tried one. even the fusion (so long as the cartridge is fresh with the lube strip intact) causes minimal irritation…so i’m not entirely sure what added benefit the badger brush would provide, let alone the rest of the fancy pants shaving gear (straight razor, expensive italian creams, etc.)

I am not suggesting that ppl start using straight razor…but there are benefits to use a shave brush, just like it is helpful to shave in the shower, right after a shower or atleast wrapping a hot towel on your face to soften the whiskers.

brushes have their benefits, and badger is supposed to be the best rather than boar or syntehtic

Now as far as cremes go, the creams that I listed are actually all english creams, and the quality does matter, why do some people like fusion gel, or edge gel more than barbasol cream same reasons
