Watch “What Women Want”. You will get a picture what Waxing does for you. Don’t try it at home,
NYA, you started out nice but why did you ask him to not try this at home. I say do it man (based on your "it" thread n general)!! Put on the wax, hold the blow dryer in the air while running, a ciggi in the mouth, pantyhose in the legs and just "drop" yourself in the water tub (make sure the tub is full of water and the dryer is plugged in and running).
sorry mate
didnt understand the question
or shall i say i didnt read it properly
what i will say let the wife shave her hair herself or wax it herself.
if i was u i wouldnt bother
unless its a big turn on
Because it slowly stops growth and soon you realise you only have to wax every 4-5 months.
hmmm.... is this really true?? NOw you got me thinking... see, I have to shave every morning before going to work and I hate it with passion. If I start waxing my face instead of shaving, is it possible that I will someday reach that same stage, errr.. "4-5 months"?? I don't care about the smooth and silkiness, heck - I would rather not. But I just want to avoid shaving every morning.. It sucks.
hmmmm.... OUr resident beauty expert Anchal needs to shed some light on this one..

ghalib by now your facial hair must be reallyyyy thick. I recommend you use an anesthetic before going for waxing ;-) Warna we won't be seeing you at gupshup for a week atleast.
Asma is right, shaving is a really bad option but waxing takes so long, even though it gives the best result. I mean making the wax, then getting the cloth stripe blah blah is a pain in the neck. You can easily use Silk Epil (which hurts more than waxing but worth it).
I think I spoke too much.
Who says nothing is impossible? I've been doing nothing all my life!
Ok ladies
There is this new product called ‘Hair No More’
its kinda lotion and you apply it after a wax
it reduces hair growth until you dont have hair anymore
Humsa if you invest in getting ‘Hot Wax’ then there isnt that much of a mess, no need for cloth strips and icky gluey stuff
Its much better then using the Honey wax
I think a small round bar of Hot Wax is round 50 Ruppes in pakistan
bring it home heat it in a pan use a wooden spatula to apply it on
it dries and you peel it off
throw away the dried wax strip …next time buy a new bar
Humsa I dont know bout Hair no More being available in Pakistan
Lekin Hot Wax i am sure is available all over Pakistan
You know those little shops of cosmetics that have smuggled goods
they are bound to have hot was
Or you will def find it in Islamabad
Or if you can spend around 1500 Rupees
then i would suggest buy the whole Hot Wax machine
you wont need to buy the hotwax again and again
its pretty neat
join the year 2001 and just get laser hair removal done.
Ghalib, this accountant pal of mine has sensitive skin and gets all messed up when he shaves so he got laser thingie done except left a very nice and shaped goatee area un-lasered, now when he does not shave it just looks like he has a very carefully shaped and maintained goatee.
..as far as helping out with personal hygiene.. ummmm, i hope it has some limits
It is a bit pricey, but why dunn ya run a bunch of calculations. how much does it cost to get laser hair removal done...
now compare that to approximate number of years you plan to shave or wax or thread or pluck etc etc. take an average cost of how much you spend on it in beauty parlours and day spas, and as well as products used at home..
I am sure once you see the results you will not think that laser is that expensive.
The gentlemen I was talking about spent less than $1500 and it took 2 or 3 sessions. A comprehensive laser hair removal thang would be much more but I had read it is around 9-10K or so, and that was a few years back.
Just become friends with someone who does it. I am waiting for my cousin to finish his fellowship in opthamology and get a few years so I can get a free lasic vision correction..you follow the same example and find someone who will be doing laser hair removal as a part of the profession.
anchal, more details about the "Hair no more" thing!!!
is it avaialble in drugstores yet?
do u have to use it after wax or can u use it after depilotory?
the reason im asking is cuz i cant stand waxing or threading on my face...a dep. cream would be best.
Fraudz Laser is expensive however it isnt for everyone
Some ppl need to have the same area done over and over again
Some ppl develop a rash cause their skin is very sensitive
hk yes its available at the pharmacy
I know the name of one product only cause thats whay i remember
but I am aware of similar products out that do the same bit
what you do is rub it on your legs and arms and whereever you have waxed and after a few months hair growth has decreased and almost stopped
I dont know if it works with hair removing creams though i will have to check
