abay, if u are overweight and swimming to lose weight then having some additional hair only add to the resistance and thus make your workout more productive.

if you were swimming competitively and then said u needed to wax body hair that would have been a different thing baba :D

now as far as sunnah goes, what s the debate here, that u must grow a beard, or you must not make fun of it. now... if you missed my point earlier, by the manners that islam teaches us..not that all of us follow them well, we should not be making fun of anyone's physical attributes right? sunnah or no sunnah.

i have limited knowledge about wajib business, unfortunately havent got the resources on my hand to study further.
the debate here is whether making a fun of sunnah is kufar? as per my understanding yes. granted we shouldnt be making fun of anyone's physical attributes, but with sunnah its even worse.

I love to swim.

And to swim fast your body needs to glide in water and for that you need to have no hair on your body and thus recently I had my body hair waxed so I can swim for the summer.

Is that Haram too?

And what kind of punishment awaits me in the after life if I shave my facial hair?

waxing is painful…even for females i heard its prohibited. but since u’r intentions are not bad, infact its painful to swim with hairz. then i believe ALLAH SWT wont punish u for dat.

^^ no the chinese waxing, what they do is put acupunctures on your body which neutralizes the nerves in that area much like a dentist when they removing a tooth

so your body goes numb and then they wax so you don't feel the pain of hair being removed

the whole process takes less than 20 minutes

and in a couple of hours, your nerves return

so you don't feel anything :)

not the head, for that i wear a skull cap

but all areas which is not covered by swimming shorts is hair free :)

didn't hurt that much, Chinese Wax specialists are really good, cheap and fast too

Might aswell wear a body suit and cover it all... Its more Islamic and alot cheaper:)
