Sharmaa'ing on the Wedding Day!

im getting married in less than 2 months ah…my mom keeps reminding me that i HAVE to sit on the stage sharmaaing like crazy with my head down, minimal smiling absolutely NO TEETH SHOWING! and very very minimal talking…yeah shes the traditional mommy…

well…I CAN’T DO THAT!!! its MY WEDDING!! i mean i will of course be shy like a dulhan, but i dont wanna look down the whole time! i dont wanna miss my whole wedding cause i was staring at the floor the whole time…might as well bring a book to read right and an ipod to listen to right? and i only look good when i smile with my teeth…i WANT to talk to people that come on stage…but no im not gonna break out in a bhangra all the way out the hall during rukhsati…but i wanna enjoy it? but my family wants the traditional frozen statue dulhan at the wedding…

did any of you guys have problems with the whole sharmaa’ing rules? share!

Not married but think that you should definitely enjoy your wedding day. Every bride is different but go for it!
