Not sure if this has been posted before but I need an idea of how much a 1-2 bedroom apartment would cost both in Sharjah and Dubai.
Any help would be appreciated.

sharjah and dubai rentasl anf real estate both to head south in the next 12 months, so dont get into any long term contract right now.

yes..right..and average rent for a 2-bedroom apartment would be like 60,000/- or so in sharjah,and approximately 120,000/-in dubai..
It depends where you want to live and how much you are willing to pay. Cetainly Sharjah will be half price almost to almost similiar apartment in Dubai but 3 hours drive back n to work is not easy at all and not also recommended.

Gluf News would be the best source of info. If you are an early riser, Nahda could be an option, a nice 2 bhk will cost you 70-75k. But then again, drive to and from work is a B. Dont go any deeper into Sharjah.

I live in Nahda-2, Dubai and do not find it crowded, or noisy. Rather I think its good becuz I dont get traffic at all whereever I want to go.

Well Nahda sure is crowded, but then what are you comparing it with? At least its easier to get on E311 in the morning. Get any deeper in Sharjah and just making your way out is a nightmare.
Doc: that really depends on the area.
