You know this is something which i have heard a lot of elders say that you shouldnt marry two girls on the same day, especially sisters, because one os bound to have an unhappy life...i have heard it a lot of times, especially in my family its a big no no...
Hy u guys making me afraid,,,as my bro-in law getting merried a day before my rukhsati. and following day i have my rukhsati. on third day walima is combined (2 brothers)....
i doubt she is more beautiful as i heard, tall healthy fair etc.
i am in inferior complex nw...so plp will compare both of us on walima day.....
Noree:
For sisters i heard same wat about brothers? as my case is diffrent , My nikah is done only rukhsati is in march hopefully. However, my bro in law weding (barat) is one day before our rukhsati.
Walima is combined..so any problems as u quoted fr sisters weding....help
^^ if you are confident about yourself then whatever ppl say won’t matter and should not matter. Just chill, relax and enjoy your day. Congrats in advance
Hey hayatkhans, No i havent heard anything for brothers..just a few cases for sisters so not to worry at all...enjoy your wedding, and many congrats dear :)
Nooree, I just read one of ur posts above..abt sisters getting married together... how much of a gap should there be between the two weddings? a day, two days, a week, month? have u heard anything abt that?
wow i did not know that!!
otherwise i was going to say— only a shared wedding if it was my sister definitely never w/ sil
but now the answer is no period :halo:
I dont think theres anything wrong with getting married with as much gap as you want as long as its not the same day, at the same time....ask any of your elder relatives if they believe in such a thing or they have heard of anything....I know my mom has always been adamant of no two daughters getting married the same day, doesnt matter at all if it happens a day apart....
We did hear the same thing from some one else..but then once my mom told my dad abt it, he didnt agree and said it shouldnt matter. Then I asked another person who seems to know quiet alot abt religion and stuff...and he said the same thing that no it shouldnt matter. yet again like others have mentioned my mom has also heard that in the past to not to marry two girls at the same time..so we r all confused now. But i guess its better to not to take any chances and do it few days apart atleast...?!?!
Yeh I'm not a fan of combined weddings though I understand that some families might have to do it for financial reasons. However two brides at the dame wedding should definitely have different outfits IMO.

i just saw picture of a wedding held this december. the wedding was a joint ceremony, 2 bros.
BOTH the brides wore the same peach outfit and BOTH the grooms wore the same suit.
