I don’t think his policies would contradict those of Americans. They want an exit strategy and negotiations with Taliban too.

He would have more trouble dealing with generals in Pak Army though.

His real issue will be to get out of self praise and start working with establishment. If he tries his prior antics, ditching anyone who disagrees with him, he will cause trouble.
