Nawaz never supported Zia. Nawaz was a non-entity, how he could have supported Zia? Neither Zia could have ever needed support from a non-entity like Nawaz. Actually, Zia looked at Nawaz, liked him, made him his adopted son, introduced public office to him, gave him ministries, taught him whatever little Nawaz knows about power and politics, then Zia later used him to run Zia’s created Muslim League.
