Shariat in Malakand

My dear fellows,
Maulana Sufi Muhammad and his fellows are trying to impose Shariat in not only Malakand but all over Pakistan.
What,s your opinion about their efforts?

Awan

As a Muslim, this is our duty to purify our self and try to make ourselves good Muslims. Same duty applies to society. In a society, it is the obligations of all of us to follow the path of Quran and sunnah. Quran which has guidance for us for every age and for every centuriese. Islam as a religion is not static, rather it is dynamic which has capibility of facing the challenges of all age and centuries. This is the charecteristic of our religion which even our enemies were not able to deny. George Bernard Shaw, once said , " If any religion has a chance of ruling over England and Europe, within next 100 years,it is Islam."
This is because Islam gives us opportunity to keeping our faith, being faithful servant of Allah and on the other hand being a good and beneficial member of the society.

How ever, unfortunately, when our Molvi and Mulla talk about Shariat, they are not talking about the life of ninteenth century according to Quran and Sunna. Rather they talk about going back to 1400 years ago and applying those rules and regualtion now and on future. If thats the meaning of bringing Shrait in Malakand, then, I would say in wording of Allam Iqbal

Shariat kiya he, shariat ki haqeeqat kiya he
Ye is raaz ko kiya samjhein, ye do rikat ke immam.

Assalam-o-Alaikum,

Amin sahib, jis kisam ki shariat yeh log nafiz karnay walay hein us sey to behtar hey key na hi karain.

Basically, all of them wants to follow Taliban. Let me highlight some points about the shariat of Taliban. Women are not allowed to work. Women are not allowed to go out of their homes openly. Parda system is very very very strict. Beard is a must for a man. If a man shaves then they put him in the jail untill his beard grows back. A cap is must for men If a man doesnt come to mosque at the time of prayer, they take him out of their home on gun point. Shopkeepers are forced to close their shops. etc. The purpose of all these things is very good for e.g. namaz, parda etc. But the Islam never allows use of force to do all these things. Its a persons choice whether or not he wants to offer prayer. After the ayat-ul-kursi Allah said “la iqra-ha fidin” Din me koi jabar nahin. But when these people talk about shariat they forget about this verse.

So I prefer not to have this kind of shariat anywhere in the world.

May Allah SWT help all those who want to implement His deen and live their lives according to His wishes. (Ameen)

Hazrat Abu Bakr RAA fought Jihad with the people who rejected to pay Zakat. i.e. he used force against them, so do you think he went against Quran? If a person is not among us that is he/she is not Muslim, then there is no compulsion on them. But if the concerned is among us, that is he/she is from Muslim Ummah then its compulsory on them to follow Islam.

No complaints against mirza because he is not amongst us and the way they translate Quran they will always take wrong meaning from Quranic Ayats. But i have seen so many Muslims complaining about Taliban Ruling System, Wallah i think, this is the best ruling system in the World, and i hope Taliban rule all the Muslim countries.

In the end, my thinking is, a person who has iman in his heart will like iman and a person who has kufar in his heart will like kuffar to be all over the world.
