Re: Shareef Larki
Why is that At least to look like shareef eh??....:(....justify Mr.??
i can think of many other words to describe a girl like that... 'oppressed' and 'disillusioned' for starters but not "shareef"
and i did grow up in a 'typically asian' society and no this is not the 'practiced' norm. I've read my share of 'teen aurtein teen kahaniyaan' and urdu digests that depict women as if they were ego-less creatures whose only aim in life was to be accepted by their husbands and their in-laws...but in real life I have seen a good share of women stand up for themselves. A great many 'shareef' women have a great deal of authority in their homes and decision making power.
so yes a woman that does stick with her husband throught thick and thin, respect her in-laws, not cheat on her husband, has not been involved in many pre-marital affairs etc is considered shareef in our society but that is a far cry from being physically abused and staying quiet. Such women are oppressed and need serious help.
Very well said, thank-you :). finally someone who can tell the huge difference there is between being oppressed and being shariff...
you forget to mention saas susaar ki galiyaan jootiyaan khaai, sara din kaam karai
this will add more spice to the thread:wink:
Re: Shareef Larki
^^ sure atleast someone is there who knows the real world..
Why is that At least to look like shareef eh??....:(....justify Mr.??
well you know thing with girls is, when they make mistakes they still are right.
So unlike guys , in their head they are always little angles.
So this thread would teach them how to keep up with the false self image they have.
Here is your answer girls::
1-she could be an A@$ kicking baho.
2-She could not be doing any hose hold stuff.
And she still can be shareef.
Re: Shareef Larki
^Aisi larki ka intezaar kertey tu borha ho jaye ga, PM
Re: Shareef Larki

Re: Shareef Larki

~ doesnt answer back
~ may b a bit naive
~ multi tasker
MULTI TASKER - where did that one come from. I think that is a quality of a "good wife". I know one too many non shareef multi taskers
Re: Shareef Larki
lol a multitasker could also be one that is good with juggling more than one man! ![]()
Re: Shareef Larki
lolzzzzzzz
erases "multitasking" from his list
Re: Shareef Larki
for me a sharif larki is someone who doesnt have a bf..doesnt drink..doesnt smoke....etc.
personally i dont think having hijab or praying namaz makes u sharif.....for me sharif is to be clean...and clean for ME is when no boy has touched u..no alcohol..and so on :)

Multi tasker, one who can juggle work and home life, and wont make such a fuss over small things......
Btw good wifes are also Sharif....

I think sharif larki is also the one who says
“Dekho Main Aesi Waisi Larki Nahin Hoon”![]()
or
The one who says to her husband::ym:
Re: Shareef Larki
^^ so the one who is basically a slave:D
^^ chill maham and guys i think its a serious topic** shareef larki is a girl jo apne khawand ki jutian aur galian khae and wuld still think he is the best one on planet earth**
oh boy, a harsh reality. THIS is the criteria of SHARAFAT in our desi society (when looking a girl for their sons & brothers). Even in most educated families. Although they oppose the idea (of them serving their husbands "BLINDLY"), but when it comes to bringing a girl to THEIR families, they go down that route.
