One day I was so bored at work that I killed 30 flies. Now all of you should address me as HRH Tees Mar Khan.

I have even studied fly's behaviour too.(I didn't know GS back then...to kill time...or to swat flys)
When you bring hand close, they put there front legs down, ready to take off.
So what you do is blow on them lightly, then out of instinct they put all limbs on the ground and resist.
NOW with them applying so much force to stay on same place; their reflexes become real slow.
Now While blowing at them, kill them softly.

i once trapped a fly in bottle and suffocated it to death.

You are my hero. I get so panicked when I see a single fly in home. Nothing seems to work to keep them out of home. The moment you open the door they will zoom right in. The only thing to work is swat those suckers. My daughter knowing my weakness has taken the task to hunt them down. She has become quite skilled in killing them using a fly swatter.

Also tell her don’t consider it a hit till she crushes a fly.
Some time we catch fly with fly swatter we think its dead, but they are only fainted/unconscious. If you don’t totally crush them, some recover and fly away.
No kidding.

:k: Good observation , She has seen that happen so now she crushes them to a paste which grosses everybody out.
She did not know the reason behind this fly behavior , I will tell her about the extensive research PM uncle has done on this subject.

I saved a girl, she was drowning in the beach side. She was bitten by a stingy fish. :)
