share your sarees

nowadays i am fond of sarees.i used to hate them.
i recently saw a girl wearing a full printed reshmi saree with full churidaar sleeves.it looked awesome
so,how many of you own a saree?
and my question is also, what does a printed saree cost in pakistan?in lahore or gujranwala?

Re: share your sarees

I loooooooooove saris, they look nice and elegant on a lot of girls and can actually be quite flattering. I've only got two (one purple one, one black one) but I'm looking to get more actually.

No idea how much saris cost in Pakistan, but they don't tend to be cheap in my experience.

Re: share your sarees

^oh wow, please do share your sarees!!!!!!!!!!

Re: share your sarees

ooh I love sarees, they’re super flattering no matter how thin or plump you are!
I had worn a saree for all my wedding functions.

I have a couple like these - called paithanis. They’re gorgeous!! The real expensive ones are made from silk and real gold thread. They’re so rich, you can almost skip the accessories.

I LOVE SARIS! I can’t wait to get a few when I get married.

Re: share your sarees

This is a sari I wore on Sat to a cousins Valima. It got complimented a lot.

Me and my brother and me and my cousin. The colours a bit off. My camera does that. I love saris right now. One of the grooms sisters friends was wearing a navy and deep purple velvet edged sari and it was gorgeous. She got hers from india. I dont have a photo of her :(. She was lovely too.

I’ve posted this photo before, but I’ll post again in case anyone hasnt seen it cos it’s the only other sari I own.

Me and my husband
