I love Studio Fix!!!! Nothing else has been so true to color as Mac for me. I'll try the other one. Best eye liner the desi "kajal" is the best! I have anyone who goes to PK bring me loads! I've lost 2 tubes in security going through the airport which sucks but its by far the best and does not irritate contacs. Only use everything Mac. For those who need it Venom Lip plumper is awesome.
I really like Christian Dior's Skinflash. Its not as thick as a concealor, just brightens. I love it...found it here in one of the threads and its amazing!!!
I also love Lancome's mascaras...Hypnose is good as a second coat IMO. Virtuose is very nice for long and curly lashes as it has the curvy brush. For a really dramatic look, I use Loreal Voluminous as a 'primer' of a sort and then any one of the Lancome mascaras. I adore mascaras.
Ive been using Lancome's powder for a couple of years but I will definitely try the Makeup Forever brand...it might be another great find like the Diorflash!
i recently bought NARS blush in gilda, and omg it's amazing. i didn't want anything with much pink in it as it doesn't suit me and this is perfect for giving my NC30 (sff) skin a natural flush, much like orgasm does for white people.
anyone please suggest me a concealer which actually covers dark cicles and dont look over done
i use mac concealers but use 2 different shades. coz i find not all marks tht i want to cover up on my face are the same shade. so i use one light and one dark and mix it up to match my skin tone....

any concealor, pref a liquid one like MAC Select Cover-Up followed by Touche Eclat or Dior Skinflash as mentioned above. I much prefer Skinflash, in terms of consistency, brightening and the shades it comes in.
for eyelashes i found the perfect soluntion. I use estee lauders sumptuous mascara and then i go over and seperate my lashes using the estee lauders more than mascara brush.... its amazing. everyone thinks im wearing false lashes when i go out. I think it will work when u use a volumizing mascara but use a brush for lenghtening mascara.

I'm realizing how clueless I am about makeup! Can anyone please tell me the difference between primer, concealer, and foundation? What are they used for and how? Do you use all of them together?
Primer goes under the foundation, it preps the skin up, provides a canvas for the foundation to glide on .. easy to remember Primer - Prep
Concealar, I duno, I dont use one, some people put it under the foundation some over it, usually used for dark circles under eyes or spots on the face. I think, still confused.
Foundation ..comeon you gotta know what a foundation is
It's best to apply u're concealer after u're foundation, if u apply it before u tend to "wipe" it off and smudge it when u're applying u're foundation! Concealer brushes are fantastic for covering-up blemishes..
silly me - It never occured to me to switch the order I wud apply concealer first, then foundation, then realize I wiped it off and then reapply concealer…
^^not if you let the concealer dry first......i do it in tht order and it works fine....plus it depends on what works for you, alot of peeps do it either way :)
Even if it dries out, u can smudge it and if it's lighter than u're skintone it can turn-out to look gray! So it's best to use u're concealer over u're foundation in downward and outward strokes (fingers, sponge or brush) then with a conceaer brush dab u're concealer on u're blemishes..this will give u're makeup a great "finish" once u've applied u're loose powder and dusted it off with a large brush!
well it works for me..... plus wouldnt u get patched skin tone when u apply the concealer over the foundation. and the foundations job is to balance the over all face colour..

Dust with loose powder last..
Agree, the ever so camp MAC make up artist in Harrods told me the same, and he was well fit, so he must have been telling the truth innit!
