Reading TLK’s thread about sharing your biggest achievement in 2009, I thought it would be interesting to see those looking forward.
So..what are your your professional and/or academic goals for 2010?
I’d love to revive this in December and see the updates.

Let me start with mine.
My priority right now is to get a job and kick start my career.
I would also like to go back to school this year (either in summer or fall) for a masters.

Insha Allah I have determined to Go for Postgraduate studies this year.
Have started preparations already , looking for schools
that could be abroad or In Pakistan
So this Year I shall be Quiting Second time from my Job
First time for Moving to UAE
Second time for Going to School

I already have secured a promotion in 2009 so a distant possibility for one more in 2010 but my life is full of Never Give Up' and I am a fighter all the time but believe in results and not just intrying'.But this year I will go back to Far East Asia , that will rejuvenate my body and my mind and I have my high aspirations for this year.

1) Add a CISA to my credentials
2) Get a CISSP as well
3) Or dump IT and enroll into a post grad program in Nanotechnology
Since its only about academics and career,
1) To get PMP certification
2) to get admission in masters
Lets have a checkpoint after every 3 months till dec. to see where we all are!

3) Get myself accredited in Canada
4) Become a barrister
I like the idea of the three year goalpost of finding out if we reached our goals InshAllah.

To finish my practice and get a training contract with a law firm to become a Family and Immigration Lawyer InshAllah and before that have a long holiday in Pakistan and meet all my crazy relatives in Pakistan.

Score seriously high on GRE and apply with a realisitic change of admission to the doctrate program that I want to get into and make my parents proud
