My first year of marriage was more like the engagement period. Just getting to know my husband. We did a lot of travelling including Hajj :). Since I had moved to the U.S. I spent Ramadan and Eid with my husband :). Funny story ... My husband came home for lunch after ramadan and I was so used to not cooking due to Ramdan that when he came for lunch I had forgotten to cook anything!
