my RE gave me clomid 200mg from CD 3-7 and CD 8-11 Puregon injections she said FSH increases the number of growing follicles and stimulates their development i had my transvaginal ultrasounds on cd 12 and the same day Re done tigger shoot there was only 1 mature follicle in my right ovry 19mm. is that so early for tigger? i dnt no when i usually ovulate is there any thing to track ovulation? today is CD 20 and i am so scared cant wait…hoping that ll works for me

If you took the trigger on CD 12, then you probably ovulated 36-48 hrs after it, which puts you on around 6 dpo, you still have a week to go so relax 19 mm seems fine to me. My RE however waits till my follicle is around 21-22 mm before giving me the trigger but 19 mm is mature enough.

Actually i was trying to ask that are you taking clomid due to a medical condition? eg not being to ovulate on your own. Because when me and my husband started trying, my doctor told me to try an year on our own. Only after that she referred me to RE who started me on clomid. Because usually it takes appx 6 months -1 yr to conceive for a healthy couple.

Unless you dont ovulate on your own without clomid, then i understand the need of you going on clomid. Otherwise it seems to me like an aggressive treatment, 200 mg of clomid (which is the highest dose) and also if you are married for only 1 year and already taking clomid for the last 5 months, seems a lot to me.
