Share 'Gharelo todkays' for overcoming bad habits

Recently read this one in a book:

p.s. This comment has nothing to do with my own face or my views about myself. I just interpreted and translated the quote from the book. Even though, just like everyone else, Alhamdulillah I am also thankful to Allah (swt) the way he made me.

If one is not married or is away from one's wife for a long time, then our scholars advise us to cut short the intake of too much meat (protein). Also fasting was advised by the Prophet (saw) because it lowers the intensity of those desires. Better to control one's gaze and not spend too much time on internet/TV. Have a compact schedule that might include regular exercise, a bit of time for religious gatherings as it is the spiritual food that helps in gaining self control against evil desires+sinful ways of satisfying one's desires. Better to work so hard at work that one may immediately go to bed after returning home, instead of wasting too much time on TV/internet. The devil remains away from a person till he offers namaz regularly. The moment a person misses one prayer, the devil attacks him and puts impure thoughts in his mind and nafs forces his heart to adopt forbidden ways, that are not only harmful for ones health but also for his character and hereafter life.
