The nation of Bahrain is enriched with splendid and distinctive culture . The exclusive customs, festivals, rituals, cuisines, artworks, music and dance has comprised the typical Bahrain Culture .

The significant part of the country of Bahrain is Arabic speaking. The native-born populace includes primarily Bahrainis. Besides that a number of Omani, Saudis and Palestinians also dwell in Bahrain. The ‘foreign-born’ citizens are from India, Pakistan, Britain, United States, Iran and Philippines. The major population of Bahrain is follower of Islam but people with other faiths also receive freedom to observe their conviction.
Although the language of Arabic is regarded as the official language of Bahrain, but English language is widely used for several commercial purposes.

Other than football conventional activities like horse riding, falconry, and hare hunting are still popular among more affluent Bahrainis. Horse and camel racing are all the rage public amusement.

Re: Share cultural info/images - where do u live

i don't have an image or any particular reference whether its local culture here or not, but i find it pretty generous...

here in the UAE, after every Jummah Prayer, young kinds go upto their elders (i mean real old men) fathers, grand fathers or uncles and pay them tribute in their traditional way, that is touching their noses together, and kissing the old man on forehead...

another thing i like about these people is they are very much regular in prayers, not like our people back in Pakistan... and they always bring their small children with them to masjid
