I’m toying with this as a saree: the saree would be triple shaded like the duputta, but with only on the pallu. Same type of thread appliques all over the body, and blouse with thread work. Would it look good? While I love this color combination–what other colors would this look nice as?

oh my its gorgeouss. i can totally see it as a sari. it would look greatt! i like the colors as they are but i think brown instead of black would look quite unique.
I'd keep it double-shaded.. and have delicate work on the border and sprinkles of "kaam" on the pallu.. any pastel color combo's wud work well.
