is it possible to buy a sharara or gharara suit in the UK? its for wearing to my sisters wedding and i’ve looked through ilford & green street already with no luck.

You'd have to get it made...all of the shops in ilford and green st do made to measure!

Hi starry_eyes - I wore a sharara for my wedding :) . I had to get it made from a designer in Kingston. I initially wanted to wear a lengha but she convinced me to wear a sharara. She designs it herself and sends it to India to get it made.
I wouldn't recommend her though - extremely over-priced, unprofessional, and my clothes were late.
