Anyone used these after delivery. What was it like, did it really make a difference to your tummy?
I didn’t use it the last time and my tummy felt like a deflated rubber ball for the longest time I wanna use it thus time , pls share any tips or advice you might have in this regard.
I did use for with munchkin but not straight away. I took offense when a family member asked me why I wasnt wearing one 4 days after delivery… and thought it was just wrong… but I was wrong. Should have worn one straight out of delivery!
I found the belt bit difficult, cus it would just roll up when sitting down… so i opted for those tumym control shapewear that either are in the “bike shorts” style or the underwear style… and they go all the way up above the waist (upto the ribs) .. i wore these religiously for awhile and believe it helped tremendously..
U can get them from target and k-mart for a decent price… but dont fret spending money on them.. they are well worth it :k:
it definately helps getting things back into place.. but you have to wear it 24-7 to see the results and for atleast 2 months. its really difficult!
sgc: my friend wore it with a c section!!!! she is insane. but she has a real nice waist now.... after 2 c secs.
it didnt wore miracles for me though... cuz i had a hernia in my belly ... but it helped keeping things from moving around inside.. thats the feeling i would get if i werent wearing one :D
^ generally speaking, your body is best geared toward repoduction in your 20's, biologically and phyiscally- that is also when you are the most fertile- so i can see it being easier to bounce back into shape in your 20's too. i know when i worked out in my 20's vs. working out in my 30's, i saw results faster and easier. however, good genes, good diet, how active you were during pregnancy etc. also all play a role in how well you do after giving birth, regardless of your age.
