Do you guys wear spanx or any other Shapewear for smoothing out the jiggles. I will wear it for damage because it does smooth out the rolls and jiggles but I feel like I can’t breath in them. Do they even make comfortable ones that slims and trims without pushing my ribs into my cage so oxygen is not a luxury!?!

I don’t find any of these things comfortable at all. I did wear them right after birth (c-section) to fit into my clothes for about 6 weeks. I have had spanx from Victoria secret/yummy mummy. But really in all honesty I look ‘more’ in shape without them on 
so I don’t wear mine anymore, even under dresses.
What I find works for me is, the Victoria secret ‘angel’ bra. Holly It instantly gives a lift to the bust/rib cage. I love how it looks…hot mommy for sure 
Re-think u are a lucky duck because as uncomfortable as they are I will pull them on me, suck in as much oxygen as I can and store it so I can use it much after into the dawat. I will look into the yummy mummy. All vs bras are so padded. One can make a mattress out of it. OK that sounded Unkosher.

I have a love-hate relationship with these things. They make one body part look good but then other body parts look weird. :no:
No the padding on vs bras is ridiculous. At least one can have a happy landing. Send me the link rg!!!!
And the push-ups.. They look ridiculous in desi wear unless someone want to find perverted uncles eyeballs in their cleavage. Happy hunting to them haha

I know of a couple aunties (in their 40’s and 50’s) who use shapewear and it looks fine. Some of them reaaaally need it.
I think corsets are more for bedroom wear?

Right on sista! Lolz. I make sure not to wear these to desi parties. Those wandering eyes surely make their way 'there' and it also doesn't help when you wittle baby wants to tug at your shirt in the middle of the party face-palm

My friend uses shapewear and really admires them. she says they shape up the body permanently, if you wear them regularly... it comes in different sizes and you have to buy the one which is only one inch smaller than ur size to keep it comfortable....Moreover, there are different types of body shapers for different areas of the body.. you just have to wear them on ur problematic area...No need to punish the entire body :D

I was in Nordstorm yesterday bra shopping & remembered this thread when I saw the shape wear stuff. Now I’ve never worn one but out of curiosity decided to try on a Spanx. I’ve been neglecting the gym lately to my mid area isn’t how it used to be lol. This is the one I tried on:

Dang that thing makes you smooth all over lol. I walked out of the store yesterday b/c the sales lady was annoying me but I’m seriously considering purchasing a shape wear now. I think in my next trip I need to make it a goal to try several on to see which one I like best.
