Shane Warne's histrionics

Sour grapes or does Jonathan Agnew have a point when he says that Warne has been trying to influence Aleem Dar and Rudy Koertzen in this match almost pressurizing them into giving decisions in his favour with his excessive appealing

‘‘Shane Warne’s antics grow increasingly theatrical and, in my view, contrary to the spirit of the game. How he avoids censure for pressurising the umpire when others are often punished escapes me.
It might seem a bit of a laugh watching him go through his histrionics, but he is now devoting real time and effort in attempting to convince umpires that they have made mistakes when, in fact, the reverse is true.
Warne is a great bowler - one of the best ever - but this does him no favours.’’

Re: Shane Warne's histrionics

exactly, watch the highlights and u will see that he was going to some extreme limits, literally bullying the umps, oh well as we all know he is the bluw eye boy of cricket

Re: Shane Warne's histrionics

Channel Nine made a segment on Warne's acting. Its humerous, cause you can hear the stump mic too. Rudi was really pissed at Warne at times. He stared back at him eye to eye at one point! (When it was Cook batting and the ball went off the pad to Symonds for the catch).

Ok so its unsportsmanlike.. but I love it. Especially the Warne and Pieterson rivalry.
