okay this may sound stupid but where can i find an indo/pak store? i live in bergen county/nj and i have not come across any desi stores...and i am not in touch with the desi community soo ....

Bergen county....then you wouldnt be too far from Jersey City. Almost every second shop in Jersey City is desi.
If you want a better atmosphere, you can go to oaktree road in Iselin. The road is lined with desi stores as well.
