Shan ki briyani, tikka, and achar ghosth masala is good but NAtional's murghi curry and karahi masala is awesome so I prefer both

I feel shan spices have a strong aroma ... but national ones ( few of them ) have a more natural taste ...

I dont use maslas except for nihaari & haleem and for that i use shan.

i tried shan but didnt like the taste.....

Some masalas of Shan have MSG in it I try to avoid those and if I must I get masalas then I check if national has MSG if not then I get that.

how do you know if there is msg in it? there's nothing written in the ingredients that says msg or ajinomoto. could it be called something else?

Yeah how do you know there is MSG in it or not..??..It never says on the box…
The few I use are Shan (Nihari,Achar gosht,Qorma,and sometimes chicken tikka or tandoori).I got National’s achaar gosht this time and made a dish using it.I found the taste to be different from Shaan’s.Slightly milder and overall nice.I might try National’s Qorma next.

Monosodium glutamate is the full name. It's usually written as that, not MSG or ajinomoto.

I hate National !!!! the few times I've tried something from National it was just very veyr very bland or smelled/tasted terrible!

I don't like national either. But on MSG... with import quality one they have to be strict about mentioning what's inside t he box.
