well i think i posted something some time back about me being quite annoyed of my hair going flat and oily the next day after shampooing.
well, i hit something good. i took a chance on a john frieda shampoo, and i have to say that i only have good remarks over it.
i am using the root awakening system (shampoo and leave-in-spray) … not the conditioner becuz my old/other one is not finished yet
it REALLY gives my fine hair SO MUCH volume, it’s crazy (after blow drying .. well not the blow drying where you use big roller brushes to put in volume … just drying ..). and my hair is only a tiny bit oily from the roots on the third day, and has gone a bit flat. but nothing compared what i used to have before. on the second day, if i ran my hand through my hair, it was not a nice feeling at all. yuck.
so. john frieda, root awakening sysytem. the light green bottles. is working super for me.
heyyyyyyy … i came across something similar on youtube .. someone was saying how you can rub baby powder into hair (when oily) to get rid of the flatness … and i thought … ewwww … wouldnt that just become a gunky mess.
but this looks smart! thanks! :k:
aww … i’m on another partiton of my disk. when i return, i shall post to you
Baby powder would only work for light-colored hair...on us it iwll just look grey.
I have hte same problem, very flat, oily hair...i've tried that John freida stuff and I didn't like it at all. Right now my favorite one is Pantene Full and Thick.... and I never use conditioner..if I absolutely need to, i put some leave in-conditioner or something on my ends.
Where can i get John Freida and Bumble and Bumble stuff from? Walmart? or shoppers drug mart because i have this same problem :( and none of the shampoos work for me...not even Jhonsons baby ones lol
unfortunately pantene is what i was using before ... and it was just not being helpful ... in fact, i fell in love with pantene 2 years ago. i started using this one type and my hair went sooooooooo pretty with this nice soft big wave towards the end of my hair ... too bad that i ran out of luck with it after 3 months. my location changed. water changed. shampoo stopped working. went crazy looking for it, couldnt find it. tried another type of pantene. it just wasnt the same. shifted to some health store shampoo for a while. naaaahh . .. came back to pantene .. nahhhhh
and now i'm with john frieda .. and it's amazing. i guess its really about something suiting you.
teelobhain .. i have no idea about what you're asking. here in NL, i get JF from my regular drugstore. bumble and bumble u could purchase online i suppose.

ure in canada right? Walmart and shoppers should both have john frida...bumble and bumble, walmart MAY carry it, but if not im sure any hair salon would have it...theres also a store in square one too that has all high end hair products
and baby shampoo isn't even that great. Its for babies...not for adults...
