Shampoo for curly hair

Hey girls,

What’s a good shampoo for medium-curly hair? Something which keeps the curls intact, and doesn’t make them go limp and dry?

i have naturally wavy hair not super curly and i've used tresemme flawless curls shampoo which is pretty good

Re: Shampoo for curly hair

Thank you! For sometime now my hair have been becoming 'nest' like lol. I think I'll try it out. Do you use any conditioner?

Any tips for a LIGHT mousse or any other product to keep curly hair in place but without the heavy or wet feeling/look?

Re: Shampoo for curly hair

i use john frieda ... it really suits my hair ... plus i wash my hair only 2 times a week. what you could do (if you like) ... instead of using products like mousse etc ... use a couple of drops of hair oil like olive or almond and spread it evenly throughout (stay away from your roots if they tend to get oily) when your hair is still wet ...

it wont make your hair look greasy .. plus it makes it soft and look shiny.

when my hair starts to look too greasy to manage, i just kinda quickly rinse it through when showering ... no shampoo or conditioner. the oils thin out and run down.

Thanks Farrah. I'll try the almond oil thing and wash my hair less. I think lack of moisture is the main problem but the thing is that the roots and scalp get quite oily if I don't shampoo every other day.
