1 killo mince; add 1 cup channa dal and add all masala's and cook in 3 cup of water; cook till its fully dried of water. let it cool down and add one egg. make patties and dip in egg and fry.

check out chef zakir recipe here, very different and tasty.I tried it with chicken shami kebab and they turned out so good, otherwise my chicken shami kebab never tasted that good.
