I am sad to say that many times all I hear from the mouth of “muslims” themselves on this forum is when they are ready to bash and put down other muslims. Whether a person is Ahmadi or of any other muslim community, NOBODY has the right to declare them NON-MUSLIM. People may choose to believe what they believe but others have NO RIGHT TO declare them non-muslims. It is hurtful to people who actually believe in a particular kind of faith. Have you ever thought of that ? What your words do to others ? The downfall of Islam is in intolerance of others. Something that is totally AGAINST the basic teachings of Islam itself. How can one call themself a muslim and treat others with no respect ? One ummah means one ummah. Show and act as one ummah and not just preach it. Whether a muslim is Ahmadi or not, has nothing to do with others. That is their own personal relationship with Allah and that is accounted for with Allah’s will.
Every few days later, someone on this forum comes up with their “own” version of who is to be declared muslim and who is not. So, shameful to see people behave in this way. Especially in this day and age.
Please refrain from such negative thinking and be an adult. If you call someone a non-muslim, they don’t just become Non-Muslim automaticaly. That’s childish to think of. Intolerance is non-islamic. Refrain from it.
If someobody is non muslim it is fact of life they non muslim its not about intolerance its fact.
If somebody claim they muslim then who are we to say they non muslim. But if they say i am from ahmadhi community and say it openly then this is clearly non muslim community for the obvious reasons, Also in pakistan for example if they hound and harass the ahmadhi community this is wrong this not the way to treat them.
You mentioned about one ummah and we should practice what we preach and this is correct. In islamic state for example the ahmadhi community will have a place as a non muslim community similar to christian or jewish community.
greetings and thank you for raising a very good point.
I am afraid the issue is a very complex one. It is not possible for human society to interact without identifying its members in various respects. It is for this reason we must call a man a man and a woman a woman. Likewise we must identify or describe people in respect of their religious beliefs or national or racial background etc etc. However, we must not hold each others backgrounds as something bad unless they really are harmful to humanity when judged on the basis of fairness.
There is nothing wrong with describing people as sunnies or shias, muslims or christians, black or white unless a certain people are really bad human beings eg law abiding people and criminal people. It is necessary to distinguish between things or people for understanding purposes. We must also discriminate between people for safety and security reasons to keep criminal and harmful elements in our society at arms length. Freedom fighters and terrorists must be known as two different people.Proponents and opponents of a cause must be known as two different people so that there is no confusion as to which side of the argument one belongs.
However, there is no need to hate and kill each other for differences in our beliefs so long as we all strive for the betterment of mankind. The best way to overcome our ignorance about each other is to exchange ideas and information for mutual benefit.
Re: Shameful Intolerance of one another within our own People
then why so much ghussa?
It’s one’s point of view. I am sure and as matter of fact I know Mirza Ghulam Ahmad in his few writings did say that whoever did not beleive in him is not a muslim. It’s just that you are looking at Grass from the other side.

^ He even said who does not believe is from Zurya tul Baghaya (products / children of prostitutes). Now thats what I call intolerance.

But then it is a fact that his own son did not beleive in him. Are you sure he said that?

I do strongly feel that there is no need for the same discussion again. It has been discussed in detailed so many times. JazakAllah.

Same here!
Interesting.Well there is one Islam and the true Muslim who believes in it. It is wrong to call another a Non-Muslim if they tell you they are a Muslim. However it is our duty to correct those who may be wrong or against Islam.
I see people calling names all the time on the forum- that is very wrong.I think that we should be able to respect one another and hold decent discussions. However, usually a person will come and make some immature comment and everything comes crashing down.
People themselves need to give each other respect. I think they should at least- try.
