That is just a Insult to Mr. Yash Chopra!! He probably never even saw the dham movie and the movie is no way near Veer-Zaara. Veer Zaara is a awesome movie with awesome story line and peaceful too!! Its just a coincedence that preity and zara interlock or else to point a finger at Yash Chopra is just plain stupid! He is a legend and the movie veer zaara had clash's of Ddlj in it. Tere pyar mein and Gader you can put in the same boat cause they are both based on directing a movie towards hate and low standard films but Veer Zaara is just a high budge, high standard film with great work and great compassion in it! Tere pyar mein and Veer Zaara cannot be compared that is just wrong they are both at different levels and Veer Zaara is just a beautiful movie wiht a beautiful message!!
[/QUOTE]

So they took the exact story line and spent some extra money and made it into a high budget movie. Anyways they should have just named it "teray pyar main kay takker main".
But you may be right. I think it is a coincedence like most of the copied songs by great composers are also coincedences.

:k:

Arnold Shalwar Nicker, U the man !!!

These bollywood cheapers, shame on you !

And you pointed out right regarding the judge saying to SKR regarding forgiving Pak., man they gone nuts for sure !!!

im still recovering from the time the indians copied the drama Dasht and made into some cheap talking camel movie :smack:

wat an embarrassment.. how can anyone possibly convert a 14 part drama into a 3 hour lnog movie?!

b/w melbournians, do u know where i can get this tere pyar mein movie form?

lagta hai kai gucci yash chopra ka naukar hai. Could you have your head any farther up veer-zaras ass. :rotfl: :rotfl:

Now it might be a great movie but you sound like a 5 year old arguing over who’s toys are better. How dare you say your toy is better. AMMMMMMMMMIIIIII, HE SAID HIS TOY IS BETTER!!! :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying:

hahaha

i love indian cinema, they offere variety and they can make movies magical and Veer Zaara is one magical movie which at the end leaves you in tears because of the sacrifice they made for each other. you cannot even tell throughout the movie who's sikh who's muslim you just know they love each other and want each other, religion wasnt a issue for them both. Yash Chopra is one of the oldest directors left and a great one too and he shouldnt have people talking like this about his work because he is a respected man with respected movies and great honour. only if you understood the art of movies you would know not to blame such a thing on a big director who has class like him. maybe low budget directors with no big name and respect you can blame but yash chopra shouldnt be put in that category! he has his own level of decency and respect that he maintains.

dude, you might respect him and that is fine and dandy. But you gotta admit that your posting style opens you up to ridicule. You seriously sound like a 5 year old.

I'll repeat what I said in the veer-zara thread.

Why can't Indian guys fall for a Chinese girl or Russian or Srilankan why is it always Pakistani? I hate that concept. Bollywood and Lollywood both need some new concepts here, new stories. Same old $hit going on in every other movie. People went to see it coz of a few big names in the movie, that's it. They like the dresses and music and say that the movie was great or if the director is a "big name" then they won't even dare say anything bad about his movie, why? All the music...acting and other stuff apart, what about the concept, what about the story line? I'm really not willing to watch this movie or any movie where pak-indian love crap is going on.

regarding russian girls your plea was heard almost 3 decades back when in "mera naam joker", raj kapoor fall in love with a russian girl , again mithunda in 90s came with a movie in which heroin was a russian.

regarding chinese girls ? ok this problem is partially solved .... in the next jackei chan movie hero is chinese and heroine (Malaika Sherawat) is indian. Although her role is brief in briefs ......

hey dest.... the concept of falling for a different race has been covered in several dramaz... it prob hasnt been implemented much in movies cus it doesnt sell as much... but ive watched a few dramaz where the guy or the gal falls for a gora or a russian.. and in one it was a chinese girl... cant remember the names of the dramaz though

infact this is what Yash Chopra had in mind:

Sayad Noor had planned this film with Saima & Babar, but unluckily Yash Chopra ne ye style bi chori kar liya:

Puttar jee....if you have watched the movie, and if you know a slight bit of how things go around in India Pak, u would'nt type all this.

Lessons to learn? What lessons to learn? Rani going to her fathers grave wearing a short skirt? praying at the mazaar? A muslims calling Veer and Zara gods?

What we were shown in that movie was an Indian interpretation of Islam. The movie was far away from reality. Puttar jee...if you want to learn lessons go hit the books.....Shahrukhs movies are'nt the best source for lessons.

what a waste of time...ive seen both movies...they're both good. They're story lines are similiar but defiently not a copy of one another.

who is that woman in the photoshop she looks like a big tall man??
