Hey guys,
Has anyone visited Shamaeel’s studio in Karachi? I’m planning on going there in a few weeks if I can get a hold of someone (waiting for email reply). Anyone got any contact numbers?
Does anyone know the price range of her pret and formals?
And most importantly, is she and her staff nice and easy to work with?

well just to update u guys...i went to her studio recently. unfortunately there was nothing much to see as she was preparing for her show at pakistan fashion week 2010. i have no idea where most of her old collection was but I got to look thru some pictures. Most outfits were around 70000-90000....some very interesting designs and very different to all the other designers in the market. all her clothes give a very pakistani cow-girlish feel to me, in a good way! maybe it's all the tassles?
but anyway i don't remember seeing any bling on her clothes at all, if there was any kaam it was matte.

she might not answer over the next few days because of fashion pakistan week.
she seemed like the type of person who expects you to buy something once you walk in and she acts as if she is doing you a favour. having said that, she was pleasant enough

I think jubjub means that some of the outfits have a cowgirl (u know, cowboy-western) feel to them with the tassels and all...
