How do you guys manage wearing shalwars? I was sooooo happy when the pajama kurti style came in, but dread the thought of wearing shalwar kameez now that pajama kurtis are wayyyy old in terms of fashion. The chuunaats just get in between my legs and stuff, and its a very uncomfortable experience… anyone have tips on how to avoid that whole mess?! I have to go to Jummah namaz this week and was thinking of wearing s/k.. but totally hating the thought of having to experience all that discomfort.

get shalwars with less ghair or chunats so that they're smaller in width so to say and are easier to handle

thats a special thing you have to tell the darzeez? I dont know, I sent a perfectly well fitting shalwar to pk to be used for all my measurements and all the shalwars still turned out weird

your darzee probably made those huge patiala shalwars that are in now a days

Hmm. Too late for that now :( All my clothes came liek that and theres no way ill wear any of it. Do you know if this stuff is fixable?

hmm probably ...they can just cut it out and resew it
but i would suggest you wear it cause its in and it looks nice sometimes as a change

I agree it looks nice… but not on all people… I just so happen to be one of those people it doesnt look nice on… besides im not even comfortable in it… i feel like jasmine from aladdin

haha yeh patiala shalwar cn b annoying , if they r huge. nowadays the fashion in pakistan is still normal shalwars i wud say wid tang ponchay i dint see a specific other trend. also for kaam wale kapray u have the gown thing in where u have the shalwar n shameez pretty plain ( shameez wid half or long sleeves ) and then a sleeveless kameez on top whihc is full of kaam i have 3 of those suits.
n sabriya maybe u cn match other shalwars wid ur suit , black or stuff.

Shalwar are OK in the summer I think.....you wear them with champals.....
In the winter months over here though it's hard! I live virtually 99% of the time in boots and they just wouldn't go with shalwar!!
I just tend to get lots of tops/kurti's kameez made that go with white/cream/brown/black so that they can be worn with smart trousers and jeans....

Patiala's are out these days, capri's and churidaars accompanied by long kameezes are in. Long as in below the knees..

Sabriya, if you are not comfy with regular shalwars, maybe you can ask them to make you bell bottoms instead. Perhaps they will be more comfortable.

i love the patyala shalwars…and churidars…but i dont like the cropped pants…the style doesnt sit well with the whole kameeze/dupatta look…kinda out of place…

hehe i loved patiala when it first came out too, but then i kept getting clothes with patiala and i got tired meh 
i liked cropped pants for the summer 
…its kind of a different look and its been in for a while i believe since i got mine like almost 2 years ago
