it depends on the place one lives in and the people around.
some parts of the UK are pretty multi-cultural with lots of south asian population, especially where I live up north, shalwar kameez are pretty common and I wouldn’t feel uncomfortable wearing them. But due to the cold, I am much more comfy being clad in jeans and boots.
and when it’s been some days since I wore one, I go out of the way to wear one and dress up. Makes me feel great about me. Love shalwar kameez
