oh god, this is what nightmares are made of. imagine yourself walking down the street or strolling into a dawat wearing ankle high leather boots, tight shorts aka capris, a long kamiz on top of it... and fashion will never ever be the same again.
I dont mind the capris and long shirts they look hot to me - but the boots ruins it all i wouldn't even wear long boots with shalwars even when its snowing. but i guess the boots in the pictures is just to show a bit of funky/wild side and make it eye catching.
I found some latest gulahmed prints and this is what the models are wearing. I think these will be in pretty soon. But in my opinion, you have to be bony thin to look good in these…What do you think?
I really like the first and the last one and like the lenght of the kameez for the 1st and last. I think the shirts in those are Ok length. I think if you don’t like kneee length then you could have this pajama by your ankles or even longer.
hnestly, i think the general population here tends to be a little bit more conservative than the ppl in pak when it comes to desi fashions. (not counting sarees :aq: ), simply b/c it might be harder ot keep up with how quickly the stles change in pak. So certain trends/fashions stay here longer. maybe things have changed now, idk. but i’e et to c someone wear desi capri suit yet…
im getting this outfit made as per the instructions on the image…
i.e. kameez and dupatta from left pic, capris from right pic instead of lehenga
my questions are:
one - should the kameez be knee length or higher (like in the picture with the capri pants)?
two- how high should the capris be? cos the ones in the pic are pretty long, but these days shorter ones are in?
three- should the pants be dark green to match the kameez, or the same color as the capris in the right-side pic, i.e. to match the offwhite dupatta from the left-hand pic?
gah! im confused!
also, is it obvious the kameez is dark green or should i specify that in the image?
I personally think the white capri would look better with the dupatta. Maybe hike the shirt up an inch or 1 1/2.. but it all depends on what flatters your body most... and yeah definitely specify the colors just in case!
Its a very gorgeous outfit in and of itself, im sure yours will come out fantastic as well!
^ not in this picture...? the kameez is definitely dark green, as is the lehenga... maybe your monitor settings are set too dark? i've looked at it on different computers and its always dark green.
I have seen the dark green shade of this...my friend has it its different then this one..i have seen the fabric un-stitched it has a green shade but it was black...
gina, yeah, its karma.. i actually didn't like the original karma version shock! and i usually love everything karma does...
its on their new website, and i think this particular redesign of it looks wayyyy better.
this is it… ok, its probably just the model who is making it look a bit different in both pics cos now it doesn’t look very different… i wonder why i thought that originally? hrm…
the original seems to have two different shades of emerald green in the shirt and lehenga- or is that lighting?
i think if there ur wedding suits then go for knee length, bcoz sumtimes a short kameez i think doesnt look hat good on a dulhan ! but do wat u think looks good on u
