I am not a female either, but I’ll butt in anyway…

Sari is the most baihooda and useless piece of clothing ever designed…

It is hard to maintain, hard to wear, expensive yet hardly covers the parts that are supposed to be covered and not to mention Islamically quite taboo…

Saris are great for Hindi movies though, where Ranjeet in a rape scene can pull on one end of the Sari and the girl can unfurl out of it in one swirl, or in a rain scene where it clings to the body like saran wrap…

Sari is crap and makes a woman look like a coccon about to hatch into a moth…Thank god it’s out of fashion and let’s hope it stays that way…

Lajo :grumpy: Uff, I don’t wanna say anything.

I much prefer a lengha outfit than either shalwar/kameez, churidar pajama/kameez, or sari! However, I do love shalwar/kameez as it is our national dress and it’s very graceful on a girl.

:nuch:

I've never liked lenghas much for some reason. I think it's cause it's too common here. I prefer ghararas ... very retro. Usually, I'll wear shalwar kameez even at home so when going to a big event like a wedding, I prefer a saree.

mehnaz, i loveee ghararas tooo... there is sumthin so absolutely classic about them

sari is beautiful if it is elegant and the woman has the right figure. And who says sari is revealing? Lajjo watches too many bolly movies and all those tight cholis and pallu which hardly stays on. The heavy embroidery saris are a pain to manage though. U can hardly walk in them without tripping.

Salwar kameez is nice too and is more comfortable than a sari. The right colors, cuts, designs, prints and dupattas can do wonders.

Shararas are awesome(looks wise), but the ones I have are anything but comfortable

^But I think a sari SHOULD reveal just a tad little bit, for the subconscious mind. I think it's a very sexy look on the right body type. I especially would love to wear a chiffon sari with a sleeveless or strappy blouse and a bit of tummy revealing (not too much though as to look untasteful).

^^ saris can still look hella sexy without without showin any skin as welll... jus gotta have the confidence to carry to it

Depends entirely on the figure and colour......this way some look more appealing even if the revealing part is more ;)

Most of the pakistani women dont know the proper way of wearing saari. Those who know, and have nice figure to compliment look gorgeous :k:

^^

That also goes also for Punjabi Indian ladies.

A sexy woman will look good no matter what she wears and visa versa.

^Agreed.
