Hey Queen it really doesn't matter if an occasion is celebrated on the actual day, bit earlier or bit late than the actual date but its kinda different if same occasion is celebrated twice or more and the charm somewhat lesson down by the time you celebrate it second time.
my birthday is always celebrated twice. with family on actual date and with my friends the day or next weekend after the actual day. though i enjoy celebrating with both family and friends but the first celebration always seem to be more exciting for me.

second time celebration lacks that WOW factor, that fresh, exciting feeling.
is there a possibility if you can have your friends party the weekend after your anniversary so you can first just celebrate with ur husband and later celebrate with all friends?
