The Union Home Ministry has asked President Pratibha Patil’s office to reject Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru’s mercy plea, informed sources said.
However, few reports in media say that the Home Ministry has yet not confirmed this.
Guru is on the death row since 2002 for the 2001 parliament attack. His wife Tabassum filed a mercy petition with the Rashtrapati Bhavan four years ago.

If you google, you will find overwhelming evidence / information regarding these tragic events originating from Pakistan.

They are not hanging him cos Indian government (read Sonia) is scared shytless of upsetting the Muslims population of India, historically Congress vote bank.

In India everything is vote bank politics, muslins are traditional vote bank of congress, so they are just appeasing, even in delhi muslims are almost 11% of population
It's always easy to blame it on vote bank politics. Don't understand how Sonia can stop it. Isnt Patil the one who has it sitting on her desk. I just dont understand why there isnt any updates.
