Karishma was great!
I have yet to see it from the very beginning but Nana Patekar's acting is slick.
What's up with that one song --ashwariya and shahrukh....now we're gonna have kids singing it on the streets here. So much for the previous hit of nikaama kiya is dil nay...

I personally think they stuck the song in a silly part of the film
one minute we’re all crying and then Ashwariya’s getting jiggy with SRK..
watch it from the beginning- its good stuff.

What pissed me off about the movie was that after all that she went through… the movie ult. made women the weaker sex.. I mean the daughter who tries to help karishma escape dies, the wife is trampled over by her husband and she openly refers to herself as a whore and in the end … the onlyyyyyyyyy reason karisma got away was cuz he let her…
Please my a$$… women are so much more powerful then a coughing man…
my favorite scene ofcourse the first part of the movie (married life) and then the part where she fights back… !

After a long time i actually sat thru and watched the whole movie, Karishma was great, Nana Patekar was great too as always, SK wasn’t bad either.
I really like that song "mere mune raja." But disappointed that it wasn't in the movie. :(
A WONDERFUL MOVIE, KARISHMA WAS GR8 AND ALL CREDIT SHUD GO TO HER, NANA WAS GOOD, SHAHRUKH'S SMALL PART AND SANJAY THEY ACTED REALLY WELL,
THAT KID'S SOOO CUTE, LOOKS LIKE HE BELONGS TO THE KAPOOR FAMILY, MAYBE HE DOES? I LIKE THE SCENE WHERE HE WAKES KARISHMA UP AND THROWS WATER ON HER FACE.............

i don’t know what to say about this movie. i just got done with it.
the direction, acting is superb :k: and so is the story :k:

it was hard to digest SRK and ashwariya in these types of roles specially after that “devdas” image they have in my mind.
but all that violence is just disturbing. specially that lamb part in the beginning. but i guess it’s all part of the story

but it’s the emotional power women have over men that forced nana to let karisma go in the end. his wife emotionally forced him to let karisma go. so it depends at which angle u look at it.
everybody says women are considered the weaker sex. but i ask who is actually the weaker sex? i’ve never seen or heard a man emotionally trying to convicne a female. but females regularly and successfully convince men with the hidden powers they have over men.
