"SHAKK" Karna!!

I know Shakk karna, that too be-bunyaad (baseless) shakk karna is definitely not good. But some people has this habit, that they will do shakk on each and everything, petty or major. They will give totally new meaning to something so simple and obvious to eyes and mind, just coz they have this shakk in mind, they will make that simple thing look so ugly for everyone involved.

Does any of you have any hadith and ayat’s reference regarding Shakk? I need to tell someone, it seems. He does so much of shakk and is making his life miserable due to his this habit.

Also what about “Tohmat lagana”, like blaming or accusing someone for something he/she is totally not. it is like you are trying to tie a lie to someone he/she never committed. Again mainly coz the person has Shakk in his mind and he would not believe anything but his own mind made story.

Re: “SHAKK” Karna!!

Peace FairyTale,

I never came across any verse or hadith regarding ‘Shakk’, however one may read this to avoid ‘shakk’ kinda thoughts:

regarding ‘Tohmat lagana’ kisi ko accuse karna is sin and if accusation is wrong than its revert to the same person. Plz see hadith below:

Book ‘Belief’ of Sahih Bukhari Hadith No. 17

Narrated 'Ubada bin As-Samit: who took part in the battle of Badr and was a Naqib (a person heading a group of six persons), on the night of Al-'Aqaba pledge: Allah’s Apostle :saw2: said while a group of his companions were around him, "Swear allegiance to me for:

  1. Not to join anything in worship along with Allah.
  2. Not to steal.
  3. Not to commit illegal sexual intercourse.
  4. Not to kill your children.
**5. Not to accuse an innocent person (to spread such an accusation among people). **
  5. Not to be disobedient (when ordered) to do good deed."

The Prophet :saw2: added: “Whoever among you fulfills his pledge will be rewarded by Allah. And whoever indulges in any one of them (except the ascription of partners to Allah) and gets the punishment in this world, that punishment will be an expiation for that sin. And if one indulges in any of them, and Allah conceals his sin, it is up to Him to forgive or punish him (in the Hereafter).” 'Ubada bin As-Samit added: “So we swore allegiance for these.” (points to Allah’s Apostle :saw2: )".
