Shakeels, Mohsin etc in KHI

Hi everybody,

I’ve lived in Australia all my life, however been to Pakistan quite often, except for the past say 5 yrs I haven’t been due to uni and work commitments etc. I’ll be going soon for my wedding shopping InshAllah!

In Karachi, a lot of my family and other people I know often rave on about clothes from Shakeels (which i know is quite expensive and out of my reach) and Mohsin (which used to be reasonable price but now have gone up)

And no doubt, I do like their outfits. However, I was wondering if anyone knew similar boutiques in Karachi that make similar style clothing in more reasonable prices?

Any help will be greatly appreciated & feel free to post any pictures up of outfits from Shakeel, Mohsin or anyone else. Really need help big time !

Thanks

Maybe Zardozi or Rim Jhim? I dont know what prices you have for Shakeels or Mohsin, but I believe you can get a jora from Zardozi for around RS 70,000.

Re: Shakeels, Mohsin etc in KHI

Shakeelz is over priced for the quality of the kaam. Their styles are nice but the kaam is loaded with sequins, nothing intricate IMO. Rim Jhim has a good balance of kaam and quality. They are on the expensive side though. An average formal is between 25 and 30K. Jabeens is similar in price but you get more kaam for your money. I believe Shakeelz had the highest prices.

Yeah - I mean no doubt I like shakeel's work but theyre just a bit too expensive for my budget - and doing wedding overseas lol let's not get there - wish I was getting married in Pak lol! More fun and can easily get things done !!

Okay, so Rhim Jhim is expensive - I guess i'll check it out when i go to KHI, but Jabeen's i've heard of them before, what's their price range, and any other names coming to anyones mind?
