Well as Karan Johar says, Shahrukh Khan is paranoid about a particular ring and gets hysterical if anything happens to it.
That ring depicts love, marriage and relationships. Ya, that’s Shahrukh’s wedding ring. Karan also added that the ring represent the luckiest part of Shahrukh’s existence – the time when Gauri came into his life.
That’s why Shahrukh is wearing that ring in My Name is Khan. Karan also said that Shah Rukh doesn’t wear accessories but since the watch and wedding ring is part of the narrative and his character in the film, he agreed to wear both. It’s his own wedding ring that he’s wearing for a certain period of time.
