Shahram Amiri: Spy or Captive

Guy first said he was abducted by the US, then he said he was living freely there and finally appeared at the Pakistani Embassy in Washington. He alleged that he had been abducted while performing Hajj, but the Americans deny this. Instead, they say that he came to the US of his own free will and gave them valuable info about Iran’s nuclear program. They said that he had been given a new identity, but grew concerned for family members back home. He is now on his way back to Iran.

The Iranians have long alleged that the US kidnapped him, but recently, their attitude has become colder.

What do you think? Is the guy really a US spy who had to leave because of his family or a innocent scientist kidnapped by the US?

Re: Shahram Amiri: Spy or Captive

First he obviously defected to US. But because of nostalgia decided to come back .
