My sister marriage is over after seen her photo shoot i came to know that shah nawaz is not the only person, there r many more and even much better than him.I talking about Lal Studio,i dont know the person name .Belive me His work is so mind blowing.he dont use background drapery,he give effects of different building,like lal kila or etc in editing, and it look so real. i really love his work. takecare.

I just got my shoot done from Shahnawaz. He is over confident and not impressive as a person. A girl from Madeeha's did my make up, she did a really good job. I didn't get my shoot back yet, I'll post some pics when I do. He thinks he knows everything and BS's a lot, he also overcharges!

same here jugni, I had my photo shot from him. He is one of the rudest person I have ever met.
He overcharges for everything. He charged me 10,000 each for HD DVDs, but guess what the DVDs were not HD quality, and I did not even asked him form mehindi dvd I hired someone else for that, but since I lost the receipt I had from him agreeing only on barat function coverage, I had to pay for the other DVD as well.
My mehnidi phootshot was on 26th of dec (but since the condition in Lahore was not very good, roads were blocked and all the torpor after BB assassination) I wasn't able to go to his studio for shot. I tried to call him several times to tell him that I won't be able to come but no one was picking up the phone, anyways I went there after the condition got better in the city and I asked him to adjust the mehnidi photo shot price to the remaining balance (since I gave him the photo shot money in advance and the DVD money was still due), but he said there is no way no earth he will give me the money back or adjust it. I was so shocked to hear that. I told him that I can not give up 10,000 just like that it is not a small amount and he said it is not his problem and if I do not give him the full amount due he will not give me my stuff. In short, he pressured me into getting the mehnidi shot done just a day before I was leaving for US. He told me that if I get the shot done in the morning he will give me the pics in the evening so I can take them with me.
I went in the evening to pickup my pics. He gave me the barat photo shot album, and event coverage and DVDs but the mehindi pics were still not ready. I asked him about the mehindi pics he said they are not ready I should call him at night he will try to make the pic ready by that time, and when I called him at night he said the electricity is giving a lot of trouble (load shedding) and that’s why he couldn't make them ready, they might be ready in the morning I should call him around 12:00 I took him I have flight at 1:00 I can't pick them in the morning he said it is not my problem and hung up (yeah he did that several time to me, and even to my mother, we were not done talking and he would hang up).
Now, I am here without my pics and I had to pay him full before he would give me other pics and dvds.
I send my brother after two days to go and pick up the pics. When my brother went there the guard told me that Shahnawaz sahab is sleeping and he can't come to see him at this time. My brother got really upset he told them he is not leaving until he talks to Shahnawaz. Then, Shahnawaz came at the end and told him that pics are not ready.
So now, the pics are still with Shahnawaz since I am here and my brother is in Karachi no one can go and pick them up.
If I get a second chance I would never in million years, will go to him for photo shot.

why ARE you guys going to shahnawaz? my cousin just got her pics done at studio 9 in karachi. at first i thought they were from shahnawaz because they looked so much like his style but they werent. she got married on 30th, got her pics 2 days later, flew back to usa on the 3rd of jan. and she paid fairly less compared to shahnawaz. all her pics came out stunning- i even posted some in the bridal pics so you guys can see.

That's such a LIE :D !!! I mean he didn't do all those bride's make-up! He is lying :p
One of the girl on his website is my cousin and her make-up was done by Mighty for all three days :D

OMG Nadia!!! I am SO sorry to hear that, I believe every word of it, that's exactly how he is and how he acts. I got my shoot done from him and he said that to give me the pics on cd's it would be 4,000 rupees for each CD! and he's like your pics will come on 2 cd's. 8,000 rupees is crazy! he only brought it down to 7,000 and was acting like that was dirt cheap. He's not professional, his son was running around during my photoshoot. He is very very rude, I haven't seen my pictures yet, my mom is bringing the album back from lahore this weekend. THEN he started bad mouthing my designer telling me BS about him ( memoona manan rouge). His pics come out good but its really not worth it going to him! ALSO, he's a BIG RIP OFF!!! once you give someone your money in Pakistan, you'll never get it back!

I would never go to tht Ba$tard, he is such a ****** and have serious attitude problems, people could rather go to clifton studios in lahore, they charge less than Shahnawaz with better results

^One of my friend’s husband had a serious fight with him or their mehndi day and he walked out his studio without getting his shoot done

And the worst thing about him is he would never give a penny back if for any reason you dnt want to get shoot done, he get the money in advance

Lol thts true, once I went to Anarkali and I bought this ready made suit, as soon I came out the shop I realise suit is not tht nice :$
I went back in the shop and said could you please refund it because I dnt actually like the embroidry on it and he went to me you shouldve think about it before and I would never give even half money back and blah blah, so flipping rude
