Dear Che, I think my point in (1) is more helpful that Nazir wasn’t bowling between the time Cook got out and Hair had noticed a problem with the ball, so this is a picture taken at a different time during the match and is irrelevant.

I hope and pray that you do not make the argument/justification you have just made here because “removing the leather that’s sticking out” IS BALL TAMPERING you don’t want to be seen doing that.

Tampering or not, leather sticking out would contribute more to swing then removing it…
