i never said we are saints.and check my above about media,we have the worst.show any of my statements being dishonest
about having bigger hearts,it depends from each individual.it doesn't matter ur muslim or hindu or from whichever country,its about each individual how the parents have rised him

whatever be the case, there is no need for afridi to say this. He should know how to handle media. Even if all that he said is true, unless he has any way to prove it, he should just not mention it. Because given the state of pakistan cricket, everyone would just blame him.
He did a fantastic job as a captain. He earned the respect of every pakistani. He earned accolades from both the countries for his conduct in WC. Why hurt that?

pls after someone keeps plying those odd tapes abt u...........shahid beimn aur 11 chor blah blah n then u tell me if u can keep yr mouth shut on their behavior. n also im sure the indian team's behavior is nt nice with ours team either, they showed it by nt having a single word of praise for any of our players. bt the did the same with the srilankans so i assume its a trait and nt just hatred for us.

But you missed the most important para (from rediff).

Rediff is also trying to make mattters worse by distorting facts (that is indian media for you). I also watched the interview and at no stage did Afridi mention indian cricketers. His criticism was directed mainly at the indian media which is negative and very Pak-centric and obsessed for sure, almost childish and immature at times. Sure Afridi goofed up by saying musalman (use is objectionable in a cricket discussion), if he had said humaray, it would have been just fine
