As we all know, competition is good for consumers, so is the case for Pakistan cricket. even though it is heartening to see Afridi’s last two innings (against Bangladesh in ODI’). I am positive that he is feeling the heat from Hafeez. He sincerely believes that Hafeez is a very strong candidate for captaincy as well. Afridi is trying his best to show consistency in batting (specially) for him to gain his captaincy back.

At last he is showing what was possible for so many years

Just think about If he had been like this for the 8-10 years ..... he may've passed by 8000-10000 Runs

Maturity + his god given Talent ..... just imagine .....

an that's why PPL (me including) boil over when he fails to take the situation into account and follows with brain fade

After 330+ matches if he is showing this maturity well i'm all his fan :D ...... hope it lasts long enough

Coming to Aash73: Imagine If Razzaq comes in and start scoring ..... can we expect a 50 ball 100 from Afridi every 2nd match ????

Agree with you 100%.
Frankly, I don't think that this consistently will last long. As soon as he feels that he has or is about to get what he wants, he will fall back to his old style.
But, I'd say this as well. I hope and pray that I am wrong. well, only time will tell.....
